TSS is required by MVD and must be attended within 60 days of the “Date Action Begins” found on the Traffic Survival School letter you received or your license will be suspended. MVD believes mandating violators to attend school will improve motorists' attitudes towards safe driving. Traffic survival school (TSS) is designed to reach individuals who have exhibited a disregard for traffic laws and the safety of others. Note: If you are not in the system, the instructor must turn you away.

If you are unsure about being required to attend TSS, for $3, you may download your MVR at AZMVDNow. Since MVD updated its website ( AZMVDNow), you are no longer required to bring your MVD letter or 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with you to class, as long as we find you in the system.

No! Yea! Our Traffic Survival School (TSS) class is set up for group work. Is there testing during or at the end of class? The class is held through Zoom so a computer with a camera and microphone with ample internet access is required as well. It typically takes up to five business days to obtain a waiver and to have the workbook mailed to you (or picked up, if needed). On the day of class bring your TSS information, drivers license or photo ID, payment or payment receipt and an awesome disposition :) Please know food and drinks are welcomed (it's a long day, bring nourishment!).
